Coaching class 2
Tomáš is a class 2 coach with 15 years of experience. He is a junior record holder and junior national champion in 60 m hurdles, as well as being the junior national champion in 100 and 200 m. In 2005, he took part at the European Junior Championships in Kaunas, placing 7th in the relay. In his coaching practice, he is involved in combined events and youth athletics. David Hájek, Jakub Bystroň, Jan Vácha and many others have passed through his hands in the pupil and youth categories, for whom athletics has had a positive influence on their childhood and adolescence.
Apart from a short break in the Athletic Club SSK Vítkovice, Tomáš’ home club is Atletika Havířov, today TJ Start Havířov (today Atletika Havířov 1965), where he works as a coach and official. His desire to create quality conditions for the work of coaches and athletes also led him to the position of chairman of the Moravian-Silesian Regional Athletic Association.
In athletics, Tomáš has been most inspired by Maurice Green and Tomáš Dvořák, both for their performances and attitudes.
The aim of his work is to educate and inspire healthy, confident, well-prepared and satisfied young athletes.
