Head coach of the academy
Coaching class 2
A Class 2 coach with eight years of experience specializing in youth.
Marie started with athletics at primary school. Many of her students have achieved medal successes in pupil categories. However, she considers the most important part of her role as a coach to be creating a synergistic environment where there is a sincere interest not only in each athlete’s health but also in their personality, school, personal life, and other joys and challenges of everyday life. She sees it as a necessity for the coach to be supportive of the athlete in every situation. Her approach to athletics was most influenced by her parents and her experiences at the Golden Spike Ostrava, which brought very motivating meetings with top athletes. In her work, she creates conditions for her athletes to love athletics, to enjoy it, and to make it a part of their lives, taking into account the fact that only if a person does what they really enjoy and what fulfills them, will they do their best in it, and this sooner or later brings success.
